AMRITA VIDYALAYAM PERUMBAVUR ON CLOUD NINE

Vikas Vinod of Class XI (Science) and Rahul A. of Class XII (Commerce) of Amrita Vidyalayam Perumbavur won the best problem description award at “Adi Shankara young Scientists Award 2017” for their firefighting robot, ‘Bumble Bee’. The award was presented by Dr. K. Sivan, Director of VSSC. The best project was selected out of 200 entries in the first level. Screening was conducted at various levels and 10 teams were awarded different prizes. The extraordinary robotic skills exhibited by Rahul A. and Vikas Vinod is commendable and we are proud of them. They also won First prize at the National Level Inter College Techno Management Fest conducted at SNGCE Kadayirippu. At the Tech Fest, the team was led by Vikas Vinod along with Rahul.A., Muhammed Shalom, Hani P. Haridas and Vishnu S. of Class X.
